IROS 2022 KYOTO

October 23 - 27, 2022
We participated in the 2022 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2022 KYOTO).

Woven Planet CEO James Kuffner delivered a keynote presentation on “The Future of Intelligent Machines: Combining the Safety of Model-based Design with the Scalability of Data-Driven Algorithms.”
He noted that “Logic and data have a complementary relationship, and by combining them, it is possible for systems to have both artificial intelligence (AI) and artificial experience (AE). Our ultimate goal is to amplify human potential through technology and provide health and happiness for people and our planet”.

We displayed the Mobile Manipulator at our exhibition booth. It was unveiled for the first time as a platform robot for aiding in the development of home robot functionality. Going forward, it will be used together with the Gantry Robot to demonstrate various functions.
